An art deco-style building in the heart of Swindon is set to undergo redevelopment, with the confirmation that the council has given the green light to the Plans.
This building is called the Poirot and it sits at the edge of Fleet Street and Bridge Street. At one time, it was home to the menswear brand Burton’s, but it has been lying vacant for a number of years. It is now in a fairly poor state of repair, but it will be brought back to life under new plans.
The developer behind them is Innovative Associate and the idea is to transform the building into a mix of residential and commercial spaces. The company submitted an application to the council in which it stated that its proposals would revive the building while also providing the Swindon economy with a boost.
Under the terms of its plans, the ground floor will be set aside for commercial usage. The other two floors will be turned into flats, with one bedroom each.
When developers have new properties to show off in the local area, brochure printing by Swindon Print shops can help them. It can supply them with Brochures containing information about the properties as well as colour pictures.
The planning officers for Swindon Borough Council recommended the plans on the grounds that they would help regenerate the town centre.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Plans
