Swindon will be the place to be if you are a fan of the music of the nineties and noughties later this spring, as the town plays host to a retro music festival.
Clubland Live is an event that is dedicated to sounds from those two decades and the organisers have lined up some big names for 2025. The headline performers are set to be The Vengaboys, a dance group from Holland that had several hits during the noughties. Other artists confirmed to appear include DJ Sammy, Whigfield and Tinchy Stryder.
There will be a number of special guests at the event too, such as Ironik, Platnum, Utrabeat, Ian Van Dahl and Craig Knight, a DJ from the local area. Poster printing by shops in Swindon is one way the organisers of festivals can let locals know the full line-ups.
The venue for this festival will be the Nigel Eady County Ground, which is the home stadium for Swindon Town FC. It is scheduled to last for three days and will see the performers delivering their biggest hits. That means tunes like ‘We’re Going to Ibiza’, ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘Never Leave You’.
James Watts from Swindon Town said that the club was pleased to be hosting the event again.
It will take place between 23rd and 25th May.
