REL had been searching for
a fresh workplace for a year and a half before it found the business park. If Winnersh Triangle gains more tenants going forward, local demand for business printing could increase. The park has been owned by two separate firms since 2013 when Patrizia UK Ltd (PUL) and Oaktree Capital Management (OCM) secured it. Will Lawrie, who works for PUL, told Get Reading:
“It’s a testament to the strength of Winnersh Triangle that REL should pick us for its move. Attracting such a highly-regarded company to our growing community shows how our investment in facilities is meeting the needs of the most discerning employers.”
REL is part of the Advantage Smollan Group (ASG) and so is Powerforce. The latter organisation moved to Winnersh Triangle before REL took its decision.
REL has recently been recognised in the Great Place to Work Institute UK survey. It featured high up in the list in a notable category. John Hubner, who works as a director in human resources for REL, said how proud the enterprise was to have been rated so highly. Mr Hubner added that the decision to shift the customer support department to Winnersh Triangle was another really positive step for the field marketing outfit.
