Reading to host wine tasting

An immersive experience that lets attendees explore and learn about wine from two European countries is running in Reading this year.

Budding sommeliers in the area are invited to sign up for this incoming event running in autumn. Titled World of Wine: Explore Spain and Portugal, the evening class is designed to suit attendees with any level of wine knowledge, from experts to beginners.

Over the course of the session, those taking part will get to taste six different carefully curated wines and enjoy a two-hour-long interactive presentation. Led by a tutor from the Thames Valley Wine School, the event will also include wine notes and handouts to take home, as well as access to a question-and-answer session.

The World of Wine event will now be held at Reading Biscuit Factory on Wednesday, November 11. The tasting session will start at 7 pm and finish at 9 pm, with tickets priced at £37.50 per person. The venue can be found located at 1 Queens Walk in Reading.

The evening is included in a flexible six-week course from the school, or can be attended individually. Those who book to attend all the events can save £25.
