Business meeting bound for Reading

An event that assembles business owners with freelancers will be held in Reading early next year.

Entrepreneurs and business founders in the area can participate in this single-day event, which combines networking with coworking, in the new year. Simply titled “Cowork Crew Reading”, the meet-up invites freelancers and micro businesses to mix.

Enterprising professionals taking part in networking events often connect with expert business card printing services beforehand to order eye-catching cards they can hand to potential collaborators and clients.

On the day, delegates can make connections with like-minded professionals who understand what wearing all the hats feels like. There will also be opportunities to learn new skills and group support for shared challenges that many self-employed individuals face.

The event will also feature a talk from guest speaker, Molly Scanlan, entitled “How To Stop Your Website From Destroying The Planet”. The web designer will show those assembled how they can measure their site’s carbon footprint and lower it.

The Cowork Crew Reading event will be held at The Quad on Thursday, January 15. The all-day meeting will start at 9 am and end at 4.30 pm, and the venue can be found at One Station Hill on Garrard Street in Reading.

Admission is £30 per person, and those unable to attend the January gathering will find that this is the first of a series of events held once a month.
