London blues band set to make a Reading appearance

The Cinelli Brothers are about to embark on a forthcoming UK tour and are due to play a gig in Reading in mid-January.

The band owes its origins to a love of ‘60s and ‘70s Texas blues and the Beatles. The two brothers Alessandro and Marco Cinelli got together with Stephen Giry and Tom Julian-Jones to create their own music based on these influences.

Their initial album 'Babe Please Set Your Alarm' came out in 2018. It included many original songs as well as several cover versions and went to No.2 on the IBBA chart. Their second LP, 'Villa Jukejoint' appeared in 2021, leading them to immediately sell out a show at the 100 Club in London.

This drew the attention of magazines such as 'Blues in Britain' and 'Classic Rock'. In 2023, their record 'No Country For Bluesmen' received nomination for 'Best Album of The Year' at the UK Blues Awards, and they were winners of the UK 'Blues Band of The Year' in 2024.

Taking second place at the Memphis International Blues Challenge confirmed the existence of a loyal worldwide fanbase.

Tickets cost £19.80, inclusive of a transaction fee. When it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event, printing services can prove to be a useful resource. .

The Cinelli Brothers gig has a starting time of 8.30 pm on Friday, 17 January at The Butler in Reading.
