Drinks festival to return to Reading
Reading will welcome back Britain’s biggest festival dedicated to spirits this summer.
The University of Reading has announced it will soon host the “Gin & Rum Festival 2025”. The returning event will be held on campus in the Great Hall and is renowned for being the largest festival celebrating the spirits in the UK.
The upcoming event will feature a wide range of different gin and rum label representatives and promises festivalgoers more than 120 different kinds of spirits to taste. Beverage companies involved in events like drinks festivals sometimes hand out low-cost promotional products featuring their business branding for marketing purposes.
Aimed at complete novices and knowledgeable enthusiasts alike, the festival will let all attending sample spirits from its hand-selected list of award-winning distillers and visit bars dedicated to rum, gin and tequila - a new addition for the 2025 edition of the event.
For entertainment, the festival will also feature a live acoustic band and a DJ set creating a party atmosphere.
The Gin & Rum Festival 2025 will take place in The Great Hall of University of Reading on Saturday, August 16. The Hall can be found at the London Road Campus in Reading and admission is available from £12.32 per person.
All tickets include an exit drink, a branded stainless-steel tumbler, straw and carry satchel, spirit samples from producers present, soft drinks and mixers, a snack and a festival guide.
