Frisk Radio has become a popular station throughout the North East of England thanks to its playlist of dance tunes from the 1990s and 2000s. Now, it is planning to expand its reach into the North West – with Preston being one of the chosen locations.
The owners of the station have confirmed expansion Plans involving the region and a total of three towns appear set to receive it. Alongside Preston, they are Blackpool and Chorley.
The station is owned by Smart Outdoor Media, and focuses on energetic electronic hits with a retro slant. The move into Lancashire is designed to coincide with the widespread digital billboard rollout.
One of the options available for advertising the station ahead of its launch is to use Promotional Products created by Preston Print shops. These can be produced with an appropriate theme and given away to the public.
Frisk Radio director Stuart Landreth told a source that:
“We are very excited to introduce the Frisk brand to Lancashire. Our rapid growth and success in the North East has shown there is a clear demand for an upbeat, dance music focused station in local markets.”
It will hit Preston early in April.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Plans
