Internationally recognised musicians, Dan Donnelly and Jon Sevnik, are due to play a gig in Preston in mid-February.
Once in a while, these two old friends get together and make time in their busy schedules to share a stage. They are generally intimate gigs and can get lively, but are popular with fans of all types of music.
Jon Sevink is a fiddler and an original member of the Brighton band The Levellers. Dan Donnelly is a singer-songwriter from Belfast who has been gigging since the 1990s, having played in more than 20 countries worldwide.
Dan started out in the group Watercress, writing their No.1 Irish Indie Chart hit singles, 'Candlemaker' and 'Stars Shine On'. Apart from being a solo artist, he has worked with The Wonder Stuff, The Oysterband and now Celtic Social Club. Whilst with Joy Zipper he supported Air, The Darkness, Ian Dury, Duran Duran and, of course, The Levellers.
The music will range from obscure Levellers fiddle-orientated songs to Donnelly's own compositions as well as some interesting covers and individual interpretations. It is supported by an acoustic session from Pike.
Tickets cost £16.50 inclusive of a booking fee. Logo Design can be a valuable form of promotion for a band seeking to publicise its music.
Dan Donnelly and Jon Sevinik's gig has a starting time of 7.00pm on Friday 11th February at Bamber Bridge Football Club, Preston.
