The Preston Weekender is a focal point of the year for many who live in the city. It provides the opportunity for two days of top quality live music, coupled with other Forms of entertainment. This festival returned last year, following an absence, and it attracted thousands of residents as well as some big name artists. Now the hope is that this year’s event can be just as good.
No details about which bands and singers will take to the stage this time have yet been revealed, but there are sure to be exciting acts among them. The 2024 festival line-up included such major names as Space and Buzzcocks.
The venue will be the Flag Market and it is being put together by Preston City Council and Preston Business Improvement District (BID). Poster printing from local shops is one of the options they have when it comes to advertising.
Peter Alexander from the BID told Blog Preston that:
“We hope that, once again, the people of Preston and beyond will get behind the event, which will allow us to improve it and grow it, year on year.”
The Preston Weekender takes place on 3rd and 4th May.
