An Evening with Katie O' Malley and John Clayton is due to take place in Preston at the beginning of December.
O'Malley, with her distinctive voice and Americana band, has gigged throughout the UK. She comes from Manchester and their self-labelled sound is a mix of folk, country and soul. They have attracted considerable exposure, notably from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio in the US, as well as supporting Beth Rowley and country singer Kimmie Rhodes.
She has worked with Adam Lewis of Manchester band The Watchmakers. The song "Piece Of The Pie", co-written by the pair, aired on the Netflix film 'Kissing Booth 2' and achieved 66 million-plus views within a handful of weeks of the broadcast.
Clayton, meanwhile, has recently released his fourth album 'Exposition' under the name Hungry Bentley. It marks a shift away from a soft acoustic sound with the nine tracks largely piano driven. His schedule for the rest of 2021 sees him opening for artists such as James Walsh (Starsailor), Ian McNabb (The Icicle Works) and Liam O'Maonlai (Hothouse Flowers).
Tickets cost £4.90 inclusive of a booking fee. Banner printing is a useful way of advertising a local concert or musical event.
The performance will take place between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm on Friday, December 3 at Penwortham Arts Centre in Preston.
