Preston City Council has entered into a partnership with Events Live and Preston BID to facilitate the production in question. It has been announced that two events will go ahead on a weekend in July. Poster printing in Preston may be used to promote the innovative entertainment.
A spokesperson for the interactive shows told the Lancashire Evening Post:
“Children will become part of the show and lead with the characters to each scene as they involve them in every step of the way. The performance moves around the gardens. Bring your own rugs and low back seating.”
It will be the first time that this kind of family fun is made available since the renovation of the square has been completed. The spokesperson confirmed that the gardens will not be accessible to those without tickets for the shows. The relevant gates and exits shall be staffed. Refreshments will be made available to those who attend. However, the spokesperson suggested that families might be at liberty to bring their own picnics.
Both of the outdoor experiences will begin at the same time. This means that everyone shall have to get to the gardens before 10am. If people wish to obtain tickets for either show then they can do so on the event website.
