A Small Business Finance Masterclass, organised by Leading Lancashire, will be held in Preston at the beginning of August.
This one-day interactive seminar is presented by a professional in the field with the intention of delivering a straightforward approach to the fundamentals of finance.
It is aimed specifically at small to medium-sized companies within the Lancashire catchment area. Anyone, whether employed or self-employed, who requires a good grounding in finance in order to carry out their job is invited to take part.
Topics covered include financial principles, planning, statements and cash flow. Attendees will gain a greater insight into business practice and accounting, while also developing a sound working appreciation of how to interpret often complex commercial transactions. This includes the ability to differentiate between important technical terms such as cash flow and profit. The opportunity to ask questions and discuss relevant topics of interest are welcome, and are sure to be plentiful at the event.
There is no charge for attendance but in order to be eligible, those participating must be over 16 years of age and a UK resident. It would also make a lot of sense to bring along some extra Business Cards for networking purposes.
The Small Business Finance Masterclass will take place between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 9 at Westleigh Conference Centre, Preston.
