A business-focused evening in Preston is set to take place onboard a canal boat next month.
The event is being organised by East Lancashire firm lovelocalnetworking with support from the Federation of Small Business (FSB) and it invites enterprise owners and like-minded professionals to meet and discuss business matters in a unique setting.
Dubbed ‘Canal Boat Romance’, the floating venue offers a range of opportunities for people looking to make new contacts and meet fellow collaborators around the local area. Those taking part in networking events can sometimes employ expert business card printing services to ensure they make the right impression to potential new clients.
Events run by Lovelocalnetworking are designed to be informal and relaxed, with no membership fees required. Guests can take advantage of the pay-as-you-go style sessions via an ad hoc admission price of £15 per person.
Tickets for the evening also offer budding entrepreneurs and business-minded people a chance for a light supper with refreshments.
The special networking occasion will be held onboard ‘Romance’, moored at the Riley Green Marina on Bolton Road in Hoghton, Preston. The craft is part of a small fleet owned by family-run business, Canal Boat Cruises which also operates The Tipis, a venue based at the marina, popular for large functions and parties.
The Lovelocalnetworking night will take place on August 18 from 6pm until 8pm.
