Residents of Preston could soon have a new place to try when they want to eat out, with the confirmation that there are Plans to open a chicken restaurant in the city.
The restaurant in question would be a branch of the Wingstop chain, which has over 1,500 restaurants in locations across the globe. This chain is currently pursuing a UK expansion, and the Preston Plans are part of that. If they are given the go ahead, the city will become the first place in Lancashire to have a branch of the restaurant.
The site that has been chosen by Wingstop is one within Fishergate. At one time, it was home to the clothing outlet Foot Locker, but currently it is lying empty. The most recent occupant of the unit was a temporary one that offered clothes.
Wingstop has 60 restaurants in the UK right now, but is hoping to increase that to 200 by the end of the decade. The nearest one to Preston in the North West is located in Bolton.
When new restaurants first open in the city, they need to be advertised. Poster printing by Preston shops can help them with that.
What people in Preston will find at Wingstop is a menu consisting of boneless and traditional chicken wings, alongside burgers and chips. The chain does not take cash payments.Get a Free Quote for Plans
