Work has already begun for a new Tesco store to be opened in a Preston city centre location, and is on course for its opening next month.
The supermarket chain has completed a deal that will see it take over 82-83 Fishergate, with work on the site already underway.
Robert Pinkus & Co. is the commercial property consultant firm spearheading this project, and the company has already revealed Plans to combine the three-unit property in order to create a space of 4,166 square feet that will span over three floors, with an estimated 2,204 square feet of retail space on the ground floor of the building.
The store will require an internal fit-out to transform it into a convenience store and, following this, it will take three weeks to be fully functional and ready for opening.
A spokesperson on behalf of the grocery giant has said that this city centre store could provide an essential service for shoppers and workers in this location, as they will be able to have a local convenient shop where they can buy all of their essentials.
Presently, it is unknown whether the store will make use of promotional services such as flyer printing to generate interest and inform the public of its opening, but it is expected that it will take eight weeks to complete, with the initial schedule suggesting that store will be open to the public by the end of September.Get a Free Quote for Plans
