A retail hub within the Preston area could accommodate a fresh eatery soon.
It has been revealed that a Miller and Carter Steakhouse may be a feature of the Preston region in the near future. The firm has made various applications to the licensing department at Preston Council. At the moment, Preston-based steak fans sometimes travel to Poulton, Lytham and Parbold. Flyer printing is often used to promote new stores and restaurant openings to the local community.
According to the information which is in the public domain, Miller and Carter Steakhouse aims to have music in the new building. In addition, alcoholic beverages could be made available on a daily basis.
Documents related to the applications show that the new steakhouse could be located at the Eastway Hub. The hub is adjacent to the roundabout at Broughton. This spot is likely to house other new amenities such as a drive-thru café and several retail units. However, the full details of the enterprises that will be based at Eastway Hub have not been published at this stage.
Meanwhile, Lidl has made a commitment to open a store in the Eastway Hub. This decision has been taken despite the presence of an existing Aldi supermarket in the vicinity. The Aldi store is situated within a mile of the Lidl site, having been constructed in the retail park of Fulton Central.
