Signature Living intends to alter the use of the old post office. The listed building is a Preston icon. However, the idea is that it can be transformed into a boutique hotel. In the future, Holiday Cards from Preston may be used to promote luxury accommodation.
Lawrence Kenwright, the founder of Signature Living, told the Lancashire Evening Post:
“We will make every effort to capture the history, the stories and the pride people have in Preston. The renovation of this building will be something I hope local people will be proud of.”
Kenwright spoke of how special the city is to his organisation. He added that Signature Living is keen to make progress at the location. Councillor Peter Rankin, who heads the local authority, praised the ambition of the initiative. Furthermore, Councillor Rankin welcomed the potential investment in the area.
The scheme would involve the delivery of a multipurpose hotel. It could include a spa, a pool, a bar, and a restaurant. There should also be a space dedicated to the housing of functions, as well as 60 ordinary rooms.
Signature Living has been responsible for developments in Liverpool which have attracted considerable media attention. The Shankly Hotel, featuring football-related memorabilia, is just one of the creations of the enterprise.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards Get a Free Quote for Plans
