Guild Hall to host Preston Beer Festival

The Preston Beer Festival is set to be held within the Guild Hall this autumn.

Real ale, cider and gin fans will be taking part in the festival from Friday 18th October. The event is to span two days and people will be able to choose between dozens of different drinks. Live music should enhance the atmosphere in Preston, while a wide range of sessions will cater for a diversity of people. Poster printing can add colour to a variety of local events.

It has been revealed that Real Ale Events will take charge of things over the weekend. Microbreweries will have the opportunity to showcase what they have to offer. A Real Ale Events spokesperson stated:

“Our beer festivals around the North West have grown in popularity over the year, so we have decided to bring it to Preston!”

A half pint of cider will set a consumer back by £2. However, half a pint of real ale is going to be priced at just £1.50. Enthusiasts will employ tokens to access these traditional beverages and obtaining tokens should not be too difficult for the drinkers once they have entered the hall.

Meanwhile, an interior gin garden will provide some less conventional drinks. This will operate on a cash basis, giving attendees the chance to sample Prosecco and boutique gins.
