Further plans for redevelopment of Lancashire Guild Hall revealed

It was recently announced that Guild Hall in Preston could see what used to be its Visitor Information Centre transformed into a wine and cocktail bar.

Should this idea get the green light, Review Bar will become the newest part of this major redevelopment scheme, for which a planning application has already been submitted to turn the current space into a night-time venue for residents and visitors.

Preston Council has received the Plans for converting the ex-visitor centre and an adjacent retail outlet into a bar, with those behind the project hoping that it will help regenerate this district.

Guild Hall’s current owner, local businessman Simon Rigby, told the Lancashire Evening Post:

“We see having a nice wine and cocktail bar at the front of the Guild Hall as being a key part of attracting people into all sorts of eateries which we have in there. We are hoping to have live music and jazz in the back of Review Bar.”

If this project goes ahead as planned, those driving it will know they can rely on the assistance of printing services in Preston to supply Menus and other essential items.

Rigby stated that it was hoped construction work could begin in the relatively near future, once the planning permission has been secured. He added that the proposed designs for it represented something special.
