Embrace has enjoyed several hits, having made a clutch of studio albums. The Yorkshire group is scheduled to play at The Ferret on Saturday 25th March and should be supported by Porter and May, as well as Glass Mountain. Flyers from Preston may be used to promote the event, which is intended to showcase a fresh EP called Future One.
Meanwhile, Preston’s Mark Whiteside will be playing alongside the group after successfully collaborating with the band in the past.
Whiteside used to play for the rock band Evil Blizzard, but more recently he has been working on his own One-Sided Horse Project. During 2015, Whiteside met Embrace’s Steve Firth in Blackpool and they have toured together since that occasion.
Whiteside told the Lancashire Evening Post:
“It was amazing to record a full album with these guys, and the way the songs were developed from my simple acoustic songs to full blown band versions was great to see and hear.”
Embrace has an exciting time ahead as it prepares to support Coldplay at two events in Cardiff. The gigs have already sold out, even though they are still months away. In addition, the prospect of a seventh album should make 2017 a year to remember for Embrace fans.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
