Families in Preston will be able to attend a very special Christmas event this year, with the confirmation that a live show centred on Santa Claus will be coming to town.
This show will be called Santa’s Christmas Cracker, and it will provide youngsters living in the city with the opportunity to talk to Father Christmas himself. There will also be an interactive event aimed at the whole family that will last for 45 minutes.
The show is the creation of Honalee Media and depicts Santa in the process of preparing for Christmas. This means getting toys for children made with the help of his elves, while reindeer Dasher loads them onto the sleigh. Meanwhile, another elf called Dotty is attempting to decorate the tree.
Other elements to the storyline include a penguin that has lost its way and does not know what Christmas is. The venue for the show will be the Guild Lounge, which is part of the foyer of the Guild Hall.
