The indie-rock collective Hardwicke Circus are due to play a gig in Preston at the end of June.
This five-piece outfit, although based in Carlisle, hails from Scotland, England and Finland. They have attracted a big following on the internet as well as numerous fans UK-wide. The lead singer Jonny Foster is also the primary songwriter and acts as a focal point, leading to comparisons with Mick Jagger.
Hardwicke Circus has received considerable airplay on BBC radio stations such as 8 Music, performing more than 150 live shows in the past year alone. These included supporting the likes of Madness, Bob Geldof's Boomtown Rats, Alabama 3 and The Blockheads.
The band is now a regular on the festival circuit, playing events such as Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festival, not to mention headlining at Kendal Calling. Indeed, in 2020, this involved an appearance at the famous American South by Southwest Festival.
They have just finished a four-month spell at London's Hope and Anchor, conveniently coinciding with the recent release of their third EP. The confirmed support on the bill is the Lancashire indie-pop band the Forensics.
Tickets cost £9.40, inclusive of a transaction fee. Banner printing can be a useful resource for those engaged in the promotion of a concert or musical event.
Hardwicke Circus's gig has a starting time of 8pm on Friday 30th June at The Continental, Preston.
