Palmers Green to offer mental health support

An NHS programme that provides psychological support complete free of charge will offer informal sessions at a civic hub in Palmer’s Green in 2026.

Since launching in summer 2025, NHS Enfield Talking Therapies “Mental Health Drop-in” is now a regular event taking place in Palmers Green. Next year, two three-hour winter sessions are open to attend. The programme is specifically planned to supply residents and those living in the wider Enfield area with access to psychological support at no cost.

Local community centres hosting health and wellbeing activities often engage Graphic Design Services to help them fashion leaflets, Brochures and Flyers to reach residents who need help.

The sessions are suited to those experiencing moderate or mild symptoms of depression and anxiety who are registered to an Enfield GP.

The Palmers Green Library will host mental health drop-in events on Monday, January 5 and Monday, February 2. The sessions start at 1 pm and end at 4 pm and the library is located on Broomfield Lane in Palmers Green in the Borough of Enfield.

Those who cannot attend the event will find the drop-in sessions are held at the library on the first Monday of every month. Palmers Green Library is a key community hub in Enfield and offers many free facilities like study spaces, PC use and Wi-Fi.
