A community hub in Enfield’s Palmers Green will soon hold a workshop dedicated to creative ideas and poetry this winter.
Residents of Enfield with a passion for poems can participate in this upcoming session, which is titled the “People with Voices Poetry and Ideas Workshop”. It invites members of the community to share their concepts and create original literature in a non-judgemental environment.
Civic centres in London running special events sometimes enlist the assistance of brochure printing services to create branded Booklets that detail the courses, classes and workshops they provide for the public.
No previous experience of poetry writing is required to take part in the two-hour workshop. Led by local poet and songwriter Poppy Medenis, the People with Voices sessions are held monthly and celebrate organic creativity and community values. Each workshop has a specific theme, and those attending undertake several different creative exercises to fuel open discussions, poetry writing and jamming.
People with Voices has been running since 2018 and aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere where people of different ages can assemble to make art together.
The poetry workshop is taking place in the Community Room at Palmers Green Library on Saturday, December 6. The library is located on Broomfield Lane in Palmers Green, and the workshop gets started at 2.30 pm and runs until 4.30 pm.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
