Nature event planned for Palmers Green

A popular public park in Palmers Green is hosting a summertime trail for families that is dedicated to the plants living within its limits.

Residents of Palmers Green looking for outdoor entertainment and an educational way to spend time with their children over half term can attend an upcoming event in the Borough of Enfield. Broomfield Park is presenting a family-friendly event called the Tree Trail in June and is inviting children of all ages, providing they are joined by a responsible adult, to take part.

Families keen to attend can pick up specially designed map at the meeting point where the trail starts and follow the route. Along the way through Broomfield Park’s 21 hectares there are questions for kids to complete. After they finish the trail, they can check to see if their answers are correct.

Organisers of family-oriented nature trails often work with full-service Print shops that can design colourful maps and questionnaires that appeal to children.

The Broomfield Park Tree Trail will now take place in Palmers Green on Sunday, June 1. The park’s conservatory is the meet-up point and beginning of the trail and the event has a set start-time of 2.30 pm and finishes at 4.30 pm.

There is no charge for adults and children to participate in trail and booking a place is not required.
