The musicians, Molly Linen and Clementine March, presented by Divine Schism, are due to play their first gig in Oxford towards the end of March.
Molly Linen is a singer/songwriter and guitarist born in Shropshire but now based in Somerset. Her voice recalls that of Cat Power, which is combined with the finger-picking electric guitar that should appeal to Nick Drake fans.
She has garnered interest from BBC 6 Music's Cerys Matthews, but also from BBC Scotland's Roddy Hart. Molly's new EP, 'Days Awake is released on the Lost Map Records label. It has been described by Folk Radio UK as 'a masterful piece of work'.
Clementine March claims to be a 90s alt-rock teenager, is a classical student of guitar and can sing in four different languages. She has pursued her devotion to Caetano Velosa by spending some time in Brazil. Once there she steeped herself in the samba, and other Brazilian sounds, but was still subject to the influence of Nirvana.
Clementine is set to play songs from her album, described by 'Snack Mag' that 'At its heart 'Songs of Resilience 'is very like its artist.'
Tickets cost £7.70 inclusive of a booking fee. Graphic design can be a valuable resource when it comes to promoting a musical artist or event.
Molly Linen and Clementine March's gig has a starting time of 7.30pm on Monday 21st March at The Library, Oxford.
