A theatre production that adapts an award-nominated television series is coming to Oxford for a winter show.
Oxford fans of the hit BBC TV programme “Inside No. 9” can soon see their favourite series turned into a stage show. The New Theatre Oxford has confirmed that the new production titled “Inside Number 9 – Stage/Fright” will tread its boards this November. Audiences will get a chance to enter a world of intrigue where the absurd and the eerie go head-to-head.
Theatre companies putting on plays often work closely with Graphic Design Services to produce large-format Posters that advertise their act.
The theatrical experience is based on the Olivier Award-nominated show and will arrive in Oxford after enjoying a sold-out run in London’s West End. The stage adaptation promises to include all the trademarks of the popular show with plenty of black humour and serpentine stories filled with comedy, horror and drama.
Familiar tales and characters will blend with brand-new material, fresh from the minds of the show’s creators Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, both of whom act in the production.
Inside Number 9 – Stage/Fright will be on stage at the New Theatre Oxford from Tuesday, November 4 to Saturday, November 8. The play is two hours and 20 minutes long and includes an interval. Tickets are £40 per person, and the theatre is sited at 24 to 26 George Street in Oxford.
