Musical theatre to enthral Oxford

A theatre based in Oxford is welcoming a musical production that translates a major motion picture into a live stage show filled with famous songs and dance routines.

Oxford is welcoming back Dirty Dancing as part of a major tour of the UK and Ireland. Fans of the film will get an opportunity to witness the romantic story unfold onstage as a musical with main characters Baby and Johnny falling in love during a fateful summer in the ‘60s.

The stage show has received high praise from critics, with the Sunday Mirror calling it a “phenomenon” and The Observer describing it as:
“The biggest live theatre sensation of all time”.

Production companies often request that Graphic Design Services highlight reviews on Posters when designing promotional materials to encourage attendance at shows.

Those booking seats will be able to hear classic tracks from the film that include Hungry Eyes, (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life and Do You Love Me?.

Dirty Dancing will be on stage at the New Theatre Oxford from Tuesday, October 6 to Saturday, October 10. The theatre is based at 24 to 26 George Street in Oxford, and the recommended audience age for the show is 14 and over.

From Tuesday to Thursday and Saturday, performances will start at 7.30 pm, and at 5 pm and 8.30 pm on Friday. A matinee show will also run at 2.30 pm on the Saturday.
