Oxford pub to present fireworks event
A special fireworks night has been planned for a popular pub in Oxford, complete with live music.
Oxford residents can enjoy a fireworks spectacular next month at a cosy public house. The built-from-stone venue, known for its ales and comfort food, is pulling out all the stops with a “Fireworks Night” featuring singer Martin Thomas.
Local venues holding fireworks celebrations around Guy Fawkes night often advertise with the help of local print shops that provide professional design services and digital printing for flyers.
At sunset, when the sky starts to get dark, the pub will put on fireworks display to light up the night for a family-friendly party. The event organisers are promising a show that will captivate and enchant children and adults alike, and the venue has also booked live entertainment. After the fireworks, vocalist Thomas will take to the stage at 9 pm. An eclectic artist, Thomas performs soul, pop and rock songs that have been carefully selected to get audiences dancing.
Those coming to the event are encouraged to bring along a blanket and their loved ones. The pub’s landlord is saying it will be among the season’s highlights.
The Fireworks Night with Martin Thomas will be at The Red Lion, Old Marston on Saturday November 8. The event starts at 7.30 pm and the public house can be found at 40-42 Oxford Road in Oxford.
