Oxford sees funny side of February

"Rob Brydon - A Night of Songs and Laughter" is on tour and due to arrive in Oxford at the beginning of February.

The award-winning Welsh comic and TV presenter has written a new show that combines music with his trademark wit and humour. It includes an eight-piece band and hits by Tom Jones, Elvis, Tom Waits, and Guys and Dolls, among others.

Brydon was born in Swansea and began his career at Radio Wales narrating radio shows, animated films, and adverts. He first came to wider public attention in 2001 with a BBC2 series of comedy monologues, titled 'Marion and Geoff'.

There were then more TV appearances, most notably as Keith Barret, a spoof chat show host, and as Bryn West in Gavin & Stacey. His stand-up has been similarly successful, selling out gigs across the UK.

Brydon’s film roles include 'The Huntsman' and a minor role in 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' when he was relatively unknown. He has also appeared in London West End theatre productions such as 'The Painkiller', 'Future Conditional' and 'A Chorus of Disapproval'.

Tickets cost £42.90 inclusive of a transaction fee. Brochure printing can be a useful resource when it comes to preparing for any forthcoming theatrical event.

The show has a starting time of 7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 1 at The New Theatre, Oxford.
