Park in Lutterworth gets new duck house
The ducks that live within a park in Lutterworth now have a brand new home of their own, thanks to a local man who refused to ‘duck’ his community responsibilities!
Reg Linford is the man in question, and he has provided a duck house for Lutterworth Country Park. This beautiful open green space is situated to the west of the town and is much loved by residents and visitors alike. The park is home to a variety of wildlife – including a number of ducks. They have settled there, but have never had a safe place for nesting until now. That comfort and safety is what the new duck house is intended to supply.
When it comes to promoting local amenities like country parks, brochure printing by shops in Lutterworth can be a good option. The brochures can contain photographs and information.
The duck house was given its unveiling this month, with a small ceremony at the park. Linford was invited to attend, alongside other members of the community and those who work at the park.
Another person in attendance was Martin Sarfas from Harborough Council. Speaking to the Harborough Mail, he stated that:
The duck house is now in use.
