A care home will be constructed at an Epsom location, after Epsom and Ewell Borough Council opted to approve the Plans at a recent meeting.
The chosen spot for the construction of this facility is on Church Street, Epsom. It is home to a building that was formerly a police station ambulance station, but this will be knocked down so that the care home can be put up in its place.
The home will have room for 85 residents and will be suitable for people who need dementia and nursing care.
In addition to the living spaces, the home will also be equipped with amenities such as a hairdresser, cinema and shop, according to the application that was submitted to the borough council. Those running it will be able to call on the help of outlets like Stationery printers in Epsom if they need administration Forms.
Planning officers for the council stated that the project should has been approved because the chosen locale is close to important facilities like public car parks and transport links.
The delay in reaching a decision was down to the need to make sure that there was no danger from flooding. A local resident living in the town had questioned whether the construction would make damp in their basement worse, but a report indicated that this would not be the case.
The start date for the construction has yet to be announced.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Plans
