The annual Epsom Downs Derby is scheduled to take place next month, and this year it will include a free festival of live entertainment.
This new addition to the event has been given the name DerbyFest and it will make the occasion special for those with no interest in horse racing. The setting for it will be Epsom Downs – The Hill, which is right alongside the track. Several of the artists who will perform at DerbyFest have already been revealed, and there are some big names among them.
Pixie Lott and The Hoosiers will be the headliners for this two-day festival, and they are both artists with sizeable followings. The Hoosiers are famed for tuneful indie songs, while Pixie Lott has had several number one hits, including All About Tonight and Boys and Girls.

Jim Allen is the general manager for the event. He said that they were delighted to be launching DerbyFest for 2026 and added that it would make the derby appealing to a wider range of people.
