Soulful musical duo announce date near Acton
The show 'A Magical Christmas Evening with Lumarie and Luke is due to take place at a venue near Acton at the end of November.
Lumarie Matthews, who is London based, will headline with a fusion of folk, neo-soul and jazz. Her vocal style is said to be similar to those of Lianne La Havas, and she is touted to touch on a variety of human subjects such as identity, self-love and relationships.
‘Free’, the artist's first single, featured on Fresh Finds on Spotify, and gained radio airplay on 'BBC Introducing', as well as on 'BBC Radio 6 Music'. She has also acquired a reputation for generating an intimate atmosphere when performing live.
Lumarie Matthews will be joined on the keyboard by Ealing's own singer-songwriter, himself a multi-instrumentalist, Luke Matthews. He is recognised for his soulful songs and stage presence, having appeared at The Roundhouse and Sofar Sounds. He was named by Edinburgh Festival Radio as “one to watch”.
The pair will be returning for a one-night-only seasonal performance of music, uplifting melodies, generous harmonies, festive cheer and a complimentary glass of wine.
