A well-known museum in Acton is set to host tours of its epic collection this summer.
London Transport Museum’s Acton Depot will be providing guided tours of its collection highlights in July. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, those taking the tour will get a chance to see historic vehicles, maps, Signs and many more items, including some unexpected and unusual objects.

The tour will allow attendees to discover the history of public transport in London from its early horse-drawn beginnings to the rare and unique vehicles employed later. The extensive collection of transport signs will also be showcased allowing guests to see how they evolved over the years.
While tours are designed with adults in mind; older children with an interest in design and transport are also welcome.
The Acton Depot tours will take place on Friday, July 28 in two sessions. The first will run from 11am to 1pm and the second from 2pm to 4pm. The Acton Depot can be found on 2 Museum Way at 118 to 120 Gunnersbury Lane in Acton.
