Leisure centre in Acton to plan open day

A leisure centre in Acton is planning to host an open day at the end of the month, where residents can explore its amenities.

Acton Centre is one of two in the capital that will be holding open days, with the other being Brent Valley Golf Course and Fitness Centre. What both facilities have in common is that they have recently undergone wide-ranging upgrades and they are both owned and run by Everyone Active.

There will be a lot for people to see if they decide to come along to the centre on the day. One of them is the newly renovated gymnasium, which has undergone expansion and been fitted with entirely new equipment. This gymnasium will be offering free use to people for the duration of the open day.

When local organisations are hosting open days, they often like to make items such as promotional Pens available. These can be created by Print shops in Acton and feature the name and logo of the organisation.

Some of the sessions that Acton Centre will run on the day include Forever Fit to Stretch and Dance Fit. People will also be able to use the swimming pool at no charge, while face painting and a bouncy castle will be available for youngsters.

The hope is that the open day will encourage more people to join Acton Centre.
