A public house in Acton is set to remember renowned guitarist and singer songwriter, Jimi Hendrix.
Dubbed ‘The Jimi Hendrix 50th anniversary Commemorative Festival’, the special event will pay tribute to the iconic artist and is the only 2020 event in London marking his passing in 1970.
The open air and marquee staged event invites fans of Hendrix to come together in honour of the innovative musician who changed the way in which blues and rock guitar music was played forever. Promoters of live music events can sometimes take advantage of poster printing services to create eye-catching adverts and attract a good attendance.
A wide selection of bands playing blues and rock from the 60s and 70s will take the stage in turn to perform tracks that inspired Hendrix on his road to fame along with songs by those influenced by his music. While the complete line-up has not been confirmed for the festival, the final act for the commemorative concert will be led by Hendrix aficionado, UK soul singer Reuben James Richards.
The Jimi Hendrix 50th Anniversary Commemorative Festival will take place at the Outback at the Grand Junction Arms pub on Acton Lane in London on Saturday, September 19. The musical extravaganza will kick off at 4pm and finish at 11:30pm with tickets priced between £20 to £60.
