Acton to sample nearby culinary delights

The Foodies Festival, presented by 'Great Taste', is due to take place near Acton towards the end of May.

The festival is set to celebrate leading chefs, quality food and drinks, all combined with live music. 'MasterChef' winners, Michelin stars and prominent local cooks will all be preparing their latest dishes in the La Espanola Chefs Theatre.

Attendees can take lessons at the Cook School and dance at the Silent Disco, while at the Tasting Theatre, with 'Fabulous Food Finds', visitors can sample new foods as well as talk to the producers, enhancing their culinary knowledge.

Those visiting on the day can learn to make cakes in the Cake & Bake Theatre together with winners from 'The Great British Bake Off', or try new wines, cocktails and lagers in The Drinks Theatre. There will also be the opportunity to eat street food or taste exotic flavours, with eating competitions also taking place.

There will also an artisan market available, as well as a Kids Cookery Theatre and fun fair.

Music at the festival will come courtesy of Pixie Lott, The Wanted 2.0 and Scouting For Girls. Cooking stars in attendance include Atul Kochhar, Ritchie Stainsby, Ayesha Kalaji, Thomas Frake and Julia Craggs.

Ticket prices begin at £14.00 per day. Brochure printing can play an important role in the promotion of a culinary event.

The Foodies Festival will take place between Saturday, 24 and Monday, 26 May at Syon Park, near Acton.
