Acton to host artisan fair

Acton's popular Maker's Market, which is now a regular date in the local calendar, is due to return to the town just prior to Christmas.

This curated commercial market will bring together a group of skilled artisans, independent manufacturers and sustainable businesses, introducing them to the West London area. There will be more than 40 traders present, offering a wide range of select goods. These include handcrafted items, distinctive art and jewellery and fashion and home décor, among others.

Those attending will also be able to sample an extensive array of fresh produce, including everything from wine and handmade condiments to gourmet standard treats and freshly baked bread, all made available on the artisanal food stalls. There should be something here to suit everyone's taste, and the event has been curated to create a friendly atmosphere.

The market champions local independent businesses and endeavours to make Acton a special place. It is also eager to support enterprises that are keen advocates of ethical and sustainable trading. Local businesses curious about or interested in participating are welcome to contact the organisers in order to obtain further information.

There is no charge for entry. Business Cards can be a cheap and effective way of networking with other commercial enterprises.

The Maker's Market will take place on Saturday, 13 December between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm at Churchfield Road in Acton.
