Acton to host annual community board meeting

A community board meeting is set to take place in Acton next month.

The community meeting is open to all households in the area and will be held at Acton Gardens Community Centre on Bollo Bridge Road. All residents from around the region are invited to come down and observe the proceedings and have their say on local issues.

The Community Board is primarily charged with overseeing regeneration of the area. At the meeting, feedback will be given to the community on progress and their involvement will be encouraged, especially from groups presently under-represented in the area. Those running meetings can rely on quality Print services to create professional agendas for all taking part.

The evening meeting will showcase local projects, started with funds allocated from the Community Chest. Private individuals and businesses in the Acton area may also wish to attend and get involved by putting their support behind upcoming events.

The Acton Gardens Community Board is recognised at the formal involvement structure for residents of L&Q, South Acton, Acton Gardens, Ealing Council and Countryside. In addition to its other duties, the board reviews all messages, communications and literature circulated throughout the community.

The Acton Gardens Community Board Meeting will begin at 6:30pm and finish at 8:30pm on March 16. Space for residents to observe is limited, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
