What's Happening in Acton, England…

A special event inspired by the 1970s is set to take place in Acton this summer.

Acton’s renowned Aeronaut pub is taking its punters back in time to the 70s with a special themed circus show. From pubs and clubs to major community hubs, venues hosting events with a theme in mind often count on professional banner printing services to create largescale signage that features a specific style.

The upcoming show will combine spectacular circus feats with plenty of laughs with a retrospective look at all that was considered cool during the disco decade. Hosted by Farrah Bianco, the circus night will celebrate 70s cinema, music and television with performances planned to include Roller Girl, Excessive Elvis, Studio 54 Burlesque, the Wonder Woman superhero LED show and the Disco Inferno Fire Act and its death-defying feats.

Bob Baxter will be leading a game show stuffed with innuendos on the night entitled “Bob’s Bouncing Balls” where customers can win prizes with the spin of the wheel. Guests are advised to keep an eye out for Bob’s arch nemesis too who strongly resembles Richard Roundtree’s superfly 70s detective Shaft.

The Superfly Seventies Circus will take place at the Aeronaut on 264 Acton High Street in London on May 21. The show will start at 6.30 pm and end at 10.30 pm with tickets priced between £10.00 and £21.00.
