The Twyford Sports Centre in Acton will hold a two-hour-long class in self-defence next month.
The Acton-based recreation centre will offer a class presented by Krav Maga London, one of the very first schools in the United Kingdom teaching Krav Maga – a self-defence system developed by Israel’s defensive forces.
Krav Maga has been designed using a variety of techniques inspired by different sources that include judo, boxing, karate, wrestling, aikido and real-world fight training. Those joining in will benefit from expert instruction in a simple to understand self-defence class designed to be used in practical situations, that delivers a unique way to get fit too.
The Krav Maga class will take place at the Twyford Sports Centre located on Twyford Crescent. Organisers of drop-in events at local centres can make good use of flyer printing services to fashion colourful handouts to get the word out and ensure a good level of interest.
Well established in the capital since 1996, Krav Maga London is part of the international organisation Krav Maga Global. Offering classes for participants of all ages and skill levels, the centre in Acton is one of three locations around London used by instructors.
The evening self-defence class runs from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Monday, November 4. As it will be a drop-in event, attendees do not need to book their place.
