Acton museum to reveal underground secrets

A museum based in Acton will run a new exhibit on London’s Underground this autumn.

The exhibition, entitled Underground Uncovered, will allow visitors to West London’s Acton Depot to explore unusual artefacts from days gone by. Secret diagrams, archive photographs and vintage Posters can all be viewed, before the visitors delve into the secret spaces located far below the UK capital’s city streets.

The upcoming attraction at the popular museum is inspired by a new documentary called Secrets of the Underground, and the depot’s own award-winning exhibition, known as Hidden London.

The Hidden London exhibition allows visitors to experience an abandoned Underground station no longer in use and hear fascinating tales from the world’s oldest railway below ground. From the role it played in World War II to its many relics, those taking the tour are offered a chance to see the dark depths of London’s Underground in a new light.

Museums, galleries and other collections open to the public can sometimes use brochure printing services to create informative literature for those attending exhibits.

The Underground Uncovered exhibition be held at the Acton Depot at 118-120 Museum Way, on Gunnersbury Lane and will run from Thursday, September 23 until Sunday, September 26. The unique experience will be open to members of the public from 10 am until 4 pm.
