Acton gallery to host late showings

A respected art gallery known for promoting the talent of local creatives in Acton will be holding late evening exhibits throughout the year on a monthly basis.

Acton art gallery JGC Contemporary has announced it will be presenting an event entitled “Late Thursdays @ JGC”, offering art lovers around the West London area and other parts of the city the chance to view the works on display during evening showings.

The evening sessions throughout 2023 will be a monthly celebration of creativity, art and West London’s local community.

Many respected artists have exhibited at the Acton gallery, including Tim Fowler, Remi Rough, Davina Bosanquet, Chris Spring and Yaffa Meskell, among many others.

Along with exhibiting a wide range of art, JGC Contemporary also promotes art Books on well-known creatives like American David Choe and anonymous street artist Banksy, which it sells online via its website. Those producing and publishing art books and other texts where images are important often look to expert printing services for advice and premium products.

Championing creative works by street, graffiti and urban artists, the gallery was founded in 2019 by Jewel Goodby and curates and cofounded the initiative known as Acton Unframed.

Late Thursdays @ JGC will take place at JGC Contemporary Art Gallery located at 45 Churchfield Road in Acton from 6 pm until 9 pm.
