Acton building scheme contract awarded to Somerset manufacturer

A leading British manufacturer from Somerset has won the contract to provide essential amenities to an Acton residential development.

Telford Homes recently announced that Offsite Solutions of Highbridge, Somerset has won a contract worth £2.2 million to supply bathroom pods for its London building project, dubbed The Perfume Factory. The contract will involve the manufacturer supplying a total of 422 pods for the development based in North Acton.

A turnkey solution, bathroom pods are designed to easily add facilities to a construction project and typically arrive onsite fully plumbed with fixtures and fitting in place. Less time and waste is involved in fitting pods, making them a sustainable and efficient option.

Manufacturers that supply specialist solutions for the building trade often employ professional Graphic Design Services to create informative Booklets and Brochures with glossy product images to attract business.

Offsite Solutions will manufacture three different types of pods for the development, with each one designed to meet specific requirements of every tenure. Shower rooms and bathrooms will be supplied for homes with shared ownership and for private rent, along with bathrooms suited to affordable housing.

Delivered by Telford Homes, The Perfume Factory features designs by Darling Associates and will transform the space originally occupied by beauty product manufacturer Elizabeth Arden into 374 sustainable dwellings for rental situated in three tower blocks. The development has a proposed completion date set for 2024.
