Well-known American retailer coming to Vaughan

American retailer Saks Fifth Avenue recently announced that it will be opening three of its OFF 5th branches across Ontario, and one of them will be in Vaughan.

The stores, which are scheduled to open sometime in during Spring 2016, they will be part of the 25 outlets that the company hopes to open over the next four years.

According to the President of HBC, Jonathan Greller, the plan to open the new store in Vaughan Mills came about because it is a mall that consistently gets a lot of traffic and has a good mix of tenants, such as the hr2, which is a branch of retailer Holt Renfrew.

A firm that provides printing services will be able to work with the company to produce all the signage, promotional items and any other printed materials it may need for the grand opening events and throughout the life of the location.

Greller noted that the shopping experience will be similar to those that can be had at the Saks locations in the US, with about 15 percent of the products on offer coming from its Fifth Avenue line of stores. An independent team of Toronto-based buyers and merchandisers will be responsible for the Canadian stores.

The other two locations to open in Ontario 2016 will be Ottawa and Niagara-On-The-Lake.
