Vaughan venue explores nightlife of its resident reptiles

A Vaughan venue that is home to an assortment of reptiles has planned an event that will explore the nightlife of some of its resident crocodilians.

Crocodiles, alligators and other species in this group of reptiles will be the stars of the show for Reptilia’s Crocs After Dark event, which will be on offer for two days only. It is suitable for the whole family, and one of its goals is to help the public develop a greater appreciation for these creatures.

The schedule starts at 7:30 p.m. with the first public feeding of the night, and this will provide a chance to view the nocturnal behaviour of the venue’s resident reptiles. This will be followed by a Diurnal, Nocturnal and Crepuscular Animal Show, which will supply even more learning opportunities. Everyone can watch how the caiman’s eyes become reflective once the lights go down, and the function will wrap up with another reptile feeding. The kids in the crowd can collect candy, and there will also be other experiences.

Along with the feedings and presentations, there will be staff circulating with some snakes to meet, and the black light display will see axolotls and scorpions glow. Reusable custom signage for a special event can be ordered from banner printing companies that offer options for in-house graphic design work.

Reptilia will be offering this special glimpse into its night side on October 23 and 24. It is located at 2501 Rutherford Road in Vaughan.
