Vaughan to craft Cupids paper roses

Romantics can craft paper roses and handmade cards for Valentine’s Day in Vaughan.

A Valentine’s Day craft workshop will invite participants to create personalized cards using paper roses, offering a short, focused creative activity built around simple materials and guided instruction.

The session is structured around individual 30-minute time slots scheduled throughout the evening. This format allows participants to take part without committing to a longer class, making the workshop accessible to individuals looking for a brief creative break.

During the session, participants learn how to roll and shape paper into rose Forms, introducing basic paper manipulation techniques suited to young children and beginners. The activity continues with decorative steps, including the addition of glitter accents, stems, and ribbons, transforming the paper flowers into a finished greeting card. Each participant will complete a Valentine and take the piece home.

The organizer will supply all crafting materials, including construction paper, glue, and markers. The workshop is open to participants aged three and up, with younger children expected to take part alongside an adult.

Participants must choose and register for a half-hour time slot to attend the workshop.

Letterheads printed on specialized paper by local shops can help personalize handwritten notes placed inside cards.

The workshop will take place at Staples–Store 450, 32 Steeles Avenue West, Vaughan, on February 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
