Vaughan event ready to announce summer lineup
The Vaughan International Film Festival and Tourism Vaughan will hold a special “Summer Lineup” announcement event this March, aiming to provide a preview of this year’s entertainment in Vaughan.
The event will be a public celebration and showcase of local organizations, who will be promoting upcoming events to be held within the summer of 2025. Confirmed presenters include the Vaughan International Music Festival, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Legoland Discovery Centre Toronto, and the Dance Together Project. Presenters will have booths to directly interact with interested visitors, as well as a “networking hub” for professionals to make connections with each other. These events often see attendees using resumé or business card printing to make sure that their contact information is remembered.
The Lineup event will conclude with the Film presenting the details of their upcoming festival, including dates, theatre locations, and the lineups for the international and student film categories. The films have been selected from an online application process, through separate judging panels for the two categories made up of industry professionals. Promotional material for the Summer Lineup emphasizes the goal of community togetherness:
The Vaughan Summer Lineup event will take place on March 20 in The Studios at Assembly Park.
